After a brief recent theatrical run, The Attack (Cohen Media Group) is available for home viewing on DVD and Blu-ray. Writer and director Ziad Doueiri’s film focuses on Arab-Israeli surgeon Amin Jaafari (Ali Suliman), who has successfully assimilated into Tel Aviv society. However, his exemplary career and family life is shattered when the Israeli police inform him that his wife, Sihem (Reymonde Amsellem), not only perished in a suicide bombing but was responsible for it. When Amin receives a posthumous letter from his wife confirming her role in the bombing, he crosses over to the West Bank to find answers. — Mordecai Specktor.
