Students of the Talmud Torah of St. Paul observed Veterans Day on Nov. 11, with a program about soldiers serving today and those who served in previous wars. The program moved outside where Irv Rosenblum, commander of Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A. Post 354 Abramson, Bigelow and Spector, spoke at the dedication of a flagpole near the school’s entrance. The flagpole, with a flag that flew over the U.S. Capitol, was provided by the St. Paul Jewish War Veterans Post 162 and 354. Maggie Burton led the students in singing the “National Anthem” and “America the Beautiful.”
