As part of its Winter Concert Series, the Minnesota Sinfonia, conducted by Jay Fishman, will feature cellist Dmitry Kouzov 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 at Metropolitan State University, 700 E. Seventh St., St. Paul; and 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13 at Temple Israel, 2324 Emerson Ave. S., Minneapolis.
Featuring “Music from Around the World,” Kouzov will perform Haydn’s Concerto in D Major for cello. The program will also include Slavonic Dance No. 3 by Dvorak; Concerto Grosso in d minor by Scarlatti/Avison; and Jewish Sketches by Fishman, a Sinfonia commission and world premiere.
