On the second night of Hanuka, the Obamas hosted a reception at the White House. President Obama expressed his condolences to the families of those who died in the wild fires sweeping northern Israel, and pledged U.S. support for the firefighting efforts.
Children lit the Hanuka candles, and Dewey Redman played “Ma’oz Tzur” on tenor sax. All three Jewish Supreme Court justices were in attendances.
