Rimon: The Minnesota Jewish Arts Council will present P’Chotchka, a fast-paced evening of art, film and performance, 6 p.m. Monday, June 3 at Pinstripes, 3849 Gallagher Dr., Edina. The benefit for Rimon will feature eight outstanding artists the organization has funded or presented during the past five years.
During P’Chotchka, eight artists speak about ideas or images that excite them or have inspired their artistic work. Eighteen images of each artist’s choosing are projected on a screen, and the artists speak 18 seconds per image.
This year’s presenters will be actor and playwright Sun-Mee Chomet; painter and video artist Shana Kaplow; authors Neal Karlen and Judith Katz; dancer Stuart Pimsler; Michael Robins, founder of the Illusion Theater; writer and storyteller Carla Vogel; and filmmaker Barbara Wiener.
