Yotam Ottolenghi, from West Jerusalem, teamed up with Sami Tamimi, from the Arab east side of town, for a beautiful volume titled Jerusalem: A Cookbook (1-18-13 AJW). Ottolenghi followed that up with Plenty, which featured vegetarian recipes from his eponymous restaurant in London. And now comes Plenty More (Ten Speed Press), a handsome cookbook that features another 150 vegetarian recipes accompanied by lovely photos. The emphasis this time is on the construction of the dishes, “in layers of flavor, texture and color,” says the author. Plenty More starts with salads (in the chapter titled “Tossed”), and organizes the recipes by cooking method: steamed, grilled, roasted, baked, sweetened, etc. — Mordecai Specktor
