Jews in America had a wonderful hero in the 1930s: Detroit Tigers slugger Hammerin’ Hank Greenberg. Director Aviva Kempner has reissued her exemplary documentary about the Hall of Famer, The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg, in a new two-disc DVD edition.
