The Social Action Committee of Bet Shalom Congregation will present its 13th annual chamber music benefit concert 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the synagogue, 13613 Orchard Rd., Minnetonka. This year’s beneficiary will be the women and children’s shelter Sojourner Project.
Featured musicians will include Cantor Sarah Lipsett-Allison, soprano, along with present and former members of the Minnesota Orchestra: Catherine Schubilske, violin, Tanya Remenikova, cello, Mary Jo Gothmann, piano and harpsichord, and Marilyn Zupnik and Mark Seerup, oboes.
They will perform soprano arias by Handel, music for two oboes and harpsichord by Quantz and Albinoni, and the Piano Trio in a minor by Maurice Ravel.
