Sunday, June 12 is Jewish Community Day with the St. Paul Saints, our beloved minor league team. Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg and other great Jewish athletes will be honored; and there will be kosher food and Jewish sports memorabilia for sale; and other surprises.
The American Jewish World is the media sponsor for the event, which also will feature a professional baseball game between the Saints and the Gary South Shore RailCats (who have Adam Klein roaming the outfield).
First pitch is 1:05 p.m., and you could win a pair of tickets, if you answer the following question correctly:
Who is the Jewish pitcher with the most wins in his Major League Baseball career?
Please include your answer in an e-mail (write “St. Paul Saints tickets” in the subject line), and send it to: business@ajwnews.com. Please include your name, address and phone number, so we can contact you, if you are among the winners. Entries must be received by 4 p.m. Monday, June 6.
On the chance that you don’t win (winners will be notified on June 7), you can purchase tickets here: St. Paul Saints.
