Jewish Women’s Morning at the Capitol will take place 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 at the State Office Building, 100 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul. The event is co-sponsored by the Greater Minneapolis and St. Paul sections of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) and the Upper Midwest Region of Hadassah.
This annual event was created to enable Jewish women to give voice to issues that affect the lives of women, children and families. Participants will learn about critical issues facing the 2011 Minnesota Legislature, build advocacy skills, confront today’s challenging political landscape in a Jewish context, and meet their elected representatives.
The event is open to all Jewish women. To register by March 7, contact Alexandra David at: alexandra.s.david@gmail.com. For information, contact Renee Popkin at 612-240-5792 or: rbpopkin@aol.com.
