The second annual CrossRiver KosherFest will take place 12 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday Jan. 10, 2016 at Temple of Aaron Synagogue, 616 S. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul. Meat, dairy and parve kosher vendors from around the Midwest will showcase their products.
The event will be emceed by WCCO’s Matt Brickman, with an appearance by former Viking Brent Novoselsky and the Minnesota Twins’ mascot TC Bear.
Among the vendors will be Chicago-based Milt’s BBQ and Highland Pop, Aviv Vodka, Bogart’s Doughnuts, Just Truffles, Shmaltz Brewing and Spirit of Asia.
There will be a new interactive shuk, classes taught by local rabbis and child care and activities available. Additionally, there will be food demonstrations led by three Israeli chefs from the Jewish Federation of Greater St. Paul’s Partnership2Gether Region of Sovev Kinneret.
“This year we got even bigger, we’re using more of our building and we have new experiences,” Temple of Aaron’s Rabbi Jeremy Fine said (1-1-16 AJW). “There will be opportunities to engage in all kinds of Jewish eating and excitement.”
