Rabbi Shaul Praver, spiritual leader of Congregation Adath Israel in Newtown, Conn., moved many to tears when he recited El Maleh Rachamim, a prayer of mourning, at last night’s vigil for those killed in the deadly rampage in Newtown, Conn., according to the Forward.
Here is the video:
This afternoon, Rabbi Praver will oversee the funeral of Noah Pozner, the youngest victim of the shooting.
The congregation’s Web site has information about making donations to the family of Noah Pozner. A message states: “We are saddened by the loss of our friends and neighbors in this tragedy and ask for your prayers for Noah Pozner’s family at this time.”
