Jewish Community Action, ISAIAH, His Works United and the Center for Public Ministry will host “Speaking of Faith After the Election,” a gathering with clergy, people of faith and elected leaders to build shared prosperity and well-being in Minnesota, on Sunday, Jan. 6 at Mount Zion Temple, 1300 Summit Ave., St. Paul. The event was originally scheduled for Dec. 9, but was postponed due to weather conditions.
Elected leaders will participate in a values-based conversation and speak about racial justice and community building through the lens of faith. Clergy and community leaders will focus on building an inclusive and just economy, exploring financial reform and wealth building for communities and families.
State leaders from both parties in the House and Senate will attend.
Childcare will be provided. To make a reservation, contact Vic Rosenthal at: vic@jewishcommunityaction.org or 651-632-2184.
